As always, I failed on sleeping in due to the sun shining through my windows and Cleo Katze licking my feet at 9am. I got up, had some green tea and talked to Mr. Bear on skype and then was wise enough to switch off the computer.
Ate some of the left over canneloni my Mom gave me in a doggy bag last night and decided to make a chili chain with the bunch of fresh gren chili peppers I had bought at the Asian store on Tuesday. I got a needle and yarn and started lining the chilis up. They were so spicy that the fumes of the oil coming out of them (when I poked them with my needle), made my eyes teary and gave me a sneeze attack! Now the chili chain is dangleing on the blinds in the living room to dry in the sun.

Then plucked my eyebrows, took a shower, exfoliated and listened to the relaxing sounds of Zero 7. Then went to take a nap and read the Vogue (Heidi Klum edition wtf??).
I got really hungry after a while and decided to make a salad with soba noodles. I had bought some at the asian store, along with fresh coriander, mini corn, bok choi and a few other things. After my trip to Tokyo, I have felt so inspired to cook more healthy Asian food, especially after reading a fabulous recipe on http://tofufortwo.net/2009/03/19/soba-salad-with-miso-dressing/. My version is a little different, since I didn't have alll the ingredients.
I chopped up some green beans and mini corn and steamed it for a few minutes. Diced up an onion, a red bell pepper and threw it into a bowl together with half a cup of miso soup, some fish sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil. Added to bundles of cooked soba noodles along with some bean sprouts and mixed it all together. On top of it a handful of fresh coridander.

Anyway, this is just the first post to get this going. Surely this shall turn into an interesting blog soon.
